Revlon: Raven Red

I felt like wearing a 'power' colour for my office mani this week so I'm wearing a classic red shade from Revlon.  I think deep red is an assertive colour so I'll reach for it in preference to nude shades when I want to feel particularly professional.  It's amazing how little touches can make you feel different about yourself and your persona.

Raven Red is one of Revlon's core shades and is a classic cool red creme.   You can tell by looking at the bottle design in my pictures that I've had this colour in my collection for a looong time! The formula on this vintage polish was a little on the watery side so two coats wasn't really enough to achieve a perfectly even result.  I noticed this more on my toes as I did a matching pedi - Don't worry, no scary feet were photographed for this post :)
