First a quick look at the nail polish which I found in a city mall pharmacy. BYS Hot Corals looks more red in these pics but as per its name it's a coral jelly polish with sparse silver glitter. And - this is my first Butter London nail polish in the colour everyone's been talking and blogging about, No More Waity, Katie. NMWK is a lavendar shade full of pale lavendar glitter. I can't wait to wear these but I've got to wait for the days to be sunny again to do them justice! The BYS set me back only $4AUD, the Butter London a more considerable $22AUD...
Now a close up on the MAC eye shadows. These are from the latest Semi Precious collection and I knew I wouldn't be able to resist them. I bought these for $40AUD each (naughty me, I know)...

Golden Gaze
Finally here are the obligatory swatches in daylight and lamplight. I hit both ends of the spectrum with Clarity a cool toned glittery shadow and Golden Gaze a glamorously warm blackened gold. The pigmentation of these is every bit as rich as you'd expect with MAC shadows.

Oooh, I was drooling all over the semi precious shadows last time I was in DJ's.... maybe it was a good thing that I was in a rush :P
ReplyDeleteThank god most of the shadows were sold out when I went to the MAC counter, otherwise I may have gone crazy. I ended up with just the Gem of Roses lipstick!
