EOTD: New Year's Eve blues...

Hello!

I took some quick pics of my eye make-up before I flew out the door for a New Year's Eve BBQ party.  I decided to play up my eyes by accenting them with a deep inky blue...

For this look I used:
  • Face of Australia primer (matte) blended over the lids
  • L'Oreal - Blue Jean applied on outer third of lids
  • MAC - Satellite Dreams on middle of lids
  • Revlon - Tickled Pink (light pink frost) on inner corners and blended up to browbone
  • MAC - Bordeauxline Powerpoint eye pencil on outer upper and lower lash lines
  • L'Oreal - Extra-Volume black waterproof mascara on upper lashes

Here are the eyeshadow colours I used and swatched in the same order:

 L-R:
Revlon Tickled Pink - (limited edition but easily dupable)
MAC - Satellite Dreams
L'Oreal - Blue Jean (intensely pigmented and tricky to blend)

Until next time.

Vita :)

  3. That blue is really pretty! Shades of blue similar to that are definitely my favorite. As much as I love blue it IS a difficult color to pull off, and you pull it off wonderfully. :)

  5. @Saumya - Thank you! Whilst I'm on holidays I've got the time to try different things so hopefully that means more EOTDs. xoxo

@Vintage Makeup - It's a gorgeous blue and looks so beautiful in the pan. I don't wear blue very often at all, and am a bit wary of it usually so thank you if you think I pulled it off! xoxo

    @hermetic - Thanks! xoxo

  6. Love it! I don't think I've seen a non-neutral eye from you yet. I'm also impressed by that nearly finished shadow quad! :)

  8. I love how you've deepened the outer corner with that L'Oreal shade. And of course, everything always looks lovely with your eye colour :)
