The weekend's here - TGIF!!! - so here's a weekend-appropriate mani. Wave goodbye to the working week with some glitter!!
I've layered two coats of Ulta3's silver glitter Twinkle Toes and the multicoloured Over The Rainbow as an extra glittery accent over a cream base (Lime Crime Milky Ways). I did this a few weeks ago for a bit of end of week zhushing for my tired manicure. Quite a cute result, although I think I would loooove to see these toppings over black!

I think these glitter (you are one glitter queen!!) nail polish would definitely rock on top of black nail polish...or...navy even! Oooh I can just imagine! Actually I sometimes paint glitter over nail polish that's chipping, just to make it look better ;)
ReplyDeleteMy trick too! If I want to freshen up my mani for the weekend and don't have the time to do the full remove and repaint then out comes the glitter! Great idea trying it over navy :)

ReplyDeleteThe multicolour is pretty - I just worried a full mani would be too much. I guess I toned it down a little by just doing the rainbow accent!

DeleteI like how you experiment so much. It's been months since I've even applied nail polish regularly, and when I think of doing so, it's right back to boring old cremes.
ReplyDeleteNothing boring about cremes! Some of my favourite polishes at the moment are creme shades - particularly cobalt blue. Hardly boring, lol!
