Well, it's almost December and that means Christmas is around the corner. Almost time for something a little festive then? I have just the thing if you're into all things frosty...
Ulta3's xoxo is an ivory glass fleck with a myriad of iridescent sparkles. It's one of those sheer shades best put to work layering but I was in the mood to wear it over bare nails. It took 3 coats to get semi-opaque coverage but I wasn't unhappy with the look. It did take forever to dry though and was prone to dents for a few hours afterward even with the use of a quick-drying topcoat - I was babying it because I didn't want to damage it. Luckily it was one of those rare lazy days otherwise I would have been in a world of trouble with this one!

What's your pick for festive nails?
The Ulta3 xoxo nail polish colour is gorgeous. It looks perfect for the festive season when you have a number of different outfit styles you wear.
ReplyDeleteI am thinking for Christmas of being typical and boring by having my nails painted christmas red and my ring finger nails silver sparkles. I have been thinking about it the last couple of days what colour/style I should paint my nails for Christmas.

Oooh, snowy and sparkly! I think that I might layer something like this over a soft grey and see if that transforms a boring old crème. :)

DeleteSuch a pretty shade! But it would definitely be ruined in a few minutes if I wore it, I wouldn't be able to wait hours for it to dry! I love glittery nails for the Christmas period!
ReplyDeleteTis the season to be glittery!!! I love looking like a Christmas bauble - at least on my nails anyway! Yes, I wouldn't recommend a nail polish like this for those in a hurry. It genuinely tested my patience :p
