Just add some sparkle! DB Designer Brands - Paparazzi

You'll recall I said I'd saved my wrinkly old Revlon mani with some layering.  My first choice was going to be a gold glitter when I remembered I'd recently bought an bronze glitter from a local brand I admit I usually ignore.

I saw DB Paparazzi glistening in the chemist/drugstore stand about a month ago with the promise of a 'New & Improved' formula.  I don't know how the original formula stood up but it was enough for me to give it a go.  Oh yes, the fact it was Limited Edition was what really pushed me over the edge - you know,  that annoying "Buy me or lose me forever!" dialogue was playing in my head.  Paparazzi is a mix of very fine bronze glitter in a sheer base.  I applied one coat and got excellent coverage, finishing with a layer of top coat for a glassy shine.  I was happy with the way the glitter camouflaged the wrinkly base polish and brought my mani back in from the 1990's.  Best of all this lasted the week!

    1. The DB polish performed pretty well for a cheaper brand. The fine glitter made for easier removal too :)

    1. Yay! Glad you like this one. Me too! I'd originally planned to wear it only on Sunday to a jazz concert but loved it so much I left it for the week :)

  3. I think this would look stunning over black or some other dark shade as well!

I like the trick of layering glitter over cremes to make the mani last one week longer. :)
