OPI: Yodel Me on My Cell

Teal, glorious teal - creme or shimmer I love them all and this one's no exception.

Yodel Me on My Cell is from OPI's 2010 Swiss Collection.  I was pretty darn enamored with that collection and have quite a few colours in my stash!  YMOMC is one of my favourites - a bright teal shimmer with just a hint of sparkle.  It's a little on the sheer side and took three coats to build up full opacity but dried quickly with a streak free finish.  One drawback of blue/green shades is they can stain nails badly but this removed cleanly with no horrible green residue.  Such a pretty and vibrant colour for winter for the teal lovers out there and I believe it's still available.

Partial sun (better than no sun!)

Until next time.

  1. I like that this one is a bit smoky, which distinguishes it from other teals.

    1. It's a favourite of mine that's for sure, although for me it's about the sparkle :)

  2. It's beautiful, but it seems like so many of those blues leaning towards teal and teals are bad stainers...

    1. I've had that staining problem quite a few times with other blue/green polishes but not with this particular shade.

  3. I think I have something very similar to this but can't recall exactly. Might be an OPI for Sephora shade. Anyway, very nice! This was the stunner in that Swiss collection.

    1. Oh God, the thought of the Sephora OPI line makes my eyes roll at the thought of even more OPI shades out there... Yup, this shade's a keeper :)

  4. Gorgeous colour but gees I hate the sappy names some polishes have - One blessing with Zoya at least it's just a girl's name (even if they had to make one up lol)/

    1. Yeah, some of the names OPI come up with make me cringe at times. The latest doozy? 'Deutsch You Want Me Baby' from the Germany Collection - cringeworthy name for a really interesting colour - Yep, I bought it and hope to post it soon!

  5. Very pretty indeed. And you can never have enough teal/blue nail polish! NEVER! :P

    1. Thanks Stacey! I'm always on the lookout for more teals! I think they somehow manage to toe the line of classy versus brash really well :)
