Spam post feat. OPI - The Man With The Golden Gun

This is my first spam post and it took weeks in the making (not that I'm complaining)!

The star of this post is OPI's 18KT gold leaf top coat The Man With Golden Gun.  This decadent top coat was recently released together with the current Skyfall collection.  There was no way this little duck could resist the temptation of wearing real gold leaf on her nails, and since trying it for the first time I fell in love with the luxe speckled effect it added to my manicures.  As a result I've been adding this gilt top coat to almost every mani I've been wearing lately, using either one or two coats depending on my mood.  Now I can share my small, slightly haphazard collection of spam pics with you taken over the last few weeks.  I think this indulgent top coat has the ability to lift any base polish except of course gold!

China Glaze - Electric Beat
(My favourite combo)

Wet n Wild - Ferguson Crest Syrah

Lime Crime - Once In A Blue Mousse

OPI - The Spy Who Loved Me

OPI - It's All Greek To Me

What's your favourite combo?

Until next time.

Vita :)

  6. Absolutely beautiful! I have this nail polish as well but I'm too afraid/guilty to open it lol! I figure I spent way too much than I ever should on one nail polish hahaha! But seeing these, I think I need to! Absolutely gorgeous!

    1. Speaking of being hard to find I have a story to tell about how I bought mine: I was in the store literally at the moment the assistant was stacking the shelf. As I picked up my bottle, a second sales assistant grabbed two bottles for herself, then as I went to the cashier yet ANOTHER sales assistant came back with a bottle for HERSELF. By the time I walked back past the shelf all the bottles were gone - bought by the staff! No wonder it's selling out so quickly :p

    1. The contrast is fantastic against darker shades - I can see myself doing more of those sorts of combinations when summer ends :)

  13. GORGEOUS!! This goes with absolutely everything. I gave this as a gift to my MAC Fairy since she was so generous with me. Now I wish I had snagged one for myself too. It's horrendously expensive for a polish though. Such a nice treat, Vita! :D

    1. Thanks Liz, I'm sure MAC Fairy deserves it! I baulked at the price too ($39AUD) but figured I'd go ahead and pay the same for Chanel polish if I really wanted it and it doesn't contain gold - not that I buy Chanel polish all that often though :p
