OPI: You Only Live Twice

I still have a few unworn shades from OPI's Skyfall collection and I finally had the opportunity to wear this glass-flecked beauty not so long ago.

You Only Live Twice does live up to its name as it has a multi-faceted appeal about it with its flashes of pink glass fleck lifting the magenta base.  I think this is a very pretty but still sophisticated jewel-like shade and will be perfect to wear when the Autumn weather (and wardrobe) finally takes hold.  In terms of application I got great coverage in two coats and added top coat for extra shine. I know I'm a little late to the party with my swatches but better late than never, right?

What are your picks from the Skyfall collection?

Until next time.

  2. This is super gorgeous. I love the jelly look to it and how shimmery it is. Reminds me of a slightly lighter OPI The One That Got Away. Also, loving the new blog layout! :)

    1. Thanks! I actually passed on The One That Got Away - I guess this makes up for it! :)

  3. I'm usually not for pinks, but I really wanted a saturated raspberry shimmer back then, so I did pick this up, and I love it! I was going to wear it this week, but picked A England Bridal Veil instead - decided to go vampy again ;)

  4. I still haven't worn any of my Bond OPIs, lol. No worries, Vita. ;)

I think this is just juicy enough to pass for summer season as well!

    1. Just about - although I think I'd prefer it on my toes for summer rather than my fingers. It did make a refreshing change from all the summery things I've been wearing lately!

    1. This would be perfect for you if you feel like wearing a more pink toned red - it's even more stunning IRL!

  6. Very juicy! Not my sort of shade, I much prefer the darker offerings from the Skyfall collection, but this is still very pretty :)

    1. Very juicy indeed! I still have the more vampy shades from Skyfall to wear but I can't bring myself to do it just yet - I'm enjoying our prolonged summer and still being able to wear summery colours! xo

  7. How beautiful is this?! Love how it is so much brighter and sparklier in the sun!

I must say I really liked the Skyfall Collection, I think Live and Let Die and On Her Majesty's Secret Service really called to me. And of course, the gold topcoat!
