Bloom: Claudia

Happy Sunday - the sun has actually been shining around here today too!

I went stash diving a few weeks ago for an autumn-appropriate pink and Claudia from Australian beauty brand Bloom is what I came up with.  The Bloom website describes this as "a carmine" and I see it as a deep pink cream with just a kiss of coral to give it some warmth.  It's bright but not in your face so it's a good everyday pink and work appropriate.  The standard two coats was enough to provide good coverage and as per usual I topped it with fast drying top coat for added shine and durability.  I have a few Bloom polishes floating around in my collection and I think I need to show them some more love really.  Anyway, onto the pictures of this Bloom polish that I am showing my love for...

Have you tried Bloom's nail polish or cosmetics?

Until next time

  1. I have Claudia too and it's one of my favourite pinks. I'm a massive fan of Bloom polishes in general. I was devastated when they close their Melbourne shop! Good thing they still have online store.

    1. I loved going into the Bloom flagship store - I never walked out of there empty handed! I was sad to see it close too.

  2. Oooh! I quite like this, I think the closest I have to this is OPI's Koala-Berry... I think! Beautiful Autumn transition shade. Especially considering Australia doesn't jump headfirst into a completely different season like the States etc.

    1. Koala-Beary is a lovely shade too! I like the idea of still being able to wear pink in autumn :)

    1. Yes! I think the best deal you can get is 2 for $30 on the Bloom website.

  4. Very pretty! I like pinkish magenta shades like these, they're great for most skin tones and colourful while still being work-appropriate. I haven't tried any Bloom polishes but I remember they launched this blue called Katie a while ago (I'm talking at least a couple of years) and I was crazy for it.

    1. You've got me intrigued now. I'll have to check back on the Bloom site to see if Kate's in their core collection. Bloom still do designer collaborations and those usually spawn some interesting shades too!

    1. I love Bloom! If you're new to Bloom I suggest you try some of their lip glosses. They smell yummy because of their natural vanilla and mandarin oils and there are some really pretty, wearable shades :)

    1. Aww really? I know that Bloom have reduced their distribution here too, retreating to mostly online shopping through their website.
