Dior: Rosy Bow

After owning this pretty pink polish for many months I finally broke it out of the box to wear!

Dior's Rosy Bow is my first experience with a Dior nail polish in many, many years and I have to say I was nothing but impressed.  The application couldn't have been more quick and easy with the wide, curved edge brush and the polish formula itself just glided on evenly.  I felt as though this was a one-coater but decided on my usual two just to be sure of no patchiness when wearing this almost pastel shade.  The colour was so pretty too without making me feel like a tween girl - a lovely warm, neon pastel pink cream.  Finally, in terms of wear this polish easily lasted the working week.  Now, if only Dior polishes were a little bit more affordable this would be perfect!  Okay, I need to dream up another excuse for spoiling myself perhaps?

  2. Wow now that's a pink! I love it! It's not too Barbie, and not boring at all!

    1. Absolutely! It's not too pale, not too bright and just a little bit sophisticated but not conservative either!

  3. This looks amazing on you!

I always feel much more justified splurging for a Dior polish than a Chanel. Formula and brush are great and colours are fab. :)

    1. So true about Dior versus Chanel packaging. I'm actually wearing a Chanel polish today and it was positively a PITA to apply compared to Dior! I have to be extra careful to get a clean cuticle edge with the Chanel because of the fine brush.

  4. Hahaha I can't believe you took so long to wear it! Sheesh, Vita! Hahahaha!

I love this color on you! And I completely agree about the Dior formula and brush - simply the best.

    1. That is what happens when you have too much polish and not enough time! So glad I did wear this - now I definitely want more Dior in my life (and manicures), haha!

  5. Hey babe, this is so girlie! :) My favourite luxe nail polish is also my favourite polish of all time. It's Riviera, also by Dior, and I think it's LE from 2011. I was fortunate enough to win it in ChloeAsh's blog contest. It does wonderful things with my skin tone.

Riviera is what made me interested in nail polish. The rest of my collection is nowhere near as luxe unless you count MAC Kid Orange (a hand-me-down) and Deborah Lippman Whatever Lola Wants (from a beauty box). The rest of my collection comprises OPI minis mostly, a couple Colour Club minis, two Julep polishes, and two Barry M Gelly polishes. I have a few full-sized polishes from varying drugstore brands.

Hmm... how did this comment become a run down of most of my nail polish collection? Dunno. I refuse to edit this. This is me, Vita, take it or leave it! hee hee!

    1. Nice collection you're growing there Boo!

Riviera is such a wonderful flattering shade from the images I've seen - a definite game-changer! I have to tell you that you're one up on me with the Deborah Lippmann. I have none!!
