OPI: Red My Fortune Cookie (plus some random bling)

I went out for a special dinner date with Hubby last weekend to celebrate my birthday.  I wore my gorgeous new TF True Coral lipstick and wanted to do the matching 'lips and tips' thing so I delved into my stash and selected OPI's Red My Fortune Cookie...

Red My Fortune Cookie is from 2010's Hong Kong Collection.  This juicy orange red was the perfect partner to my lipstick.  It had a lovely consistency and applied super smoothly with a slick patent finish after two coats.  This is a classic warm red creme - love it!

Pictures were taken outdoors on a cloudy day:

For comparison here's how the warm orange undertones are highlighted under lamplight:

I thought I'd show you the new earrings I bought last weekend to complement my outfit.  I got these gorgeous diamante drop earrings from Lovisa.

We had a wonderfully indulgent romantic dinner, eating fantastic Japanese fusion food and drinking top quality red wine ($140 AUD a bottle!!! Yes, my darling paid).  You can tell I'm a Taurus girl.  I really love nice food!

Until my next post.

Vita :)
