Revlon: Va Va Va Bloom

As soon as the sun comes out I'm reaching for the brighter colours to ward off the winter blues.

Revlon's Va Va Va Bloom fits the bill nicely.  Va Va Va Bloom is a deep fuschia creme with an almost indetectable blue shimmer highlight.  Because it is a darker toned fuschia it's bright but not OTT.  This is one of my older Revlon shades and I think this was actually the name of the seasonal collection this nail polish came from.   I know it was modelled by Halle Berry but I can't source the year it was released. This formula applied beautifully in two coats.

What colours do you wear to ward off winter?

  1. Ahhhhh! This is just GORGEOUS!

I tend to be drawn to greens and blues (in general, not just in winter) when I need a pick-me-up!

  3. I haven't had pink on my nails for ages, kinda tempted after this!

I think the nudes and funky colours have distracted us from originals like red and pink!! xx
