Miami Beet is a shade from OPI's South Beach Collection launched back in the summer of 2009. I thought this would be a good transeasonal shade to wear as we move towards the middle of our Australian autumn. Miami Beet is a pretty accurate description for this shade, as it's a beetroot colour or purplish red. It's a very chic, slightly vampy shade. This is a classic high gloss creme finish. The formula was smooth and was good to go in two coats.
I had all sorts of challenges photographing this in the fading afternoon light to try and accurately capture the colour. It's going to get harder to get good daylight shots for the next few months as the sunlight hours dwindle :(
The flash photo below brings out the cool berry undertone of this deep red:
That's all for now.
Vita :)
Oh I love this colour! Reminds me a bit of the new Texas collection actually. I don't own anything in that shade range - I think I should!
ReplyDeleteYou won't regret it!

ReplyDeleteThanks Ebz! I use truckloads of hand cream!lol
ReplyDeleteActually, I always moisturise my cuticles before I take my pictures so they don't look too ragged.
