Missha: Crystal Nail Polish GPK01

I know some of you requested a swatch of this Missha polish after I recently posted my Missha haul (here) so here's a quick dose of a sparkly pink confection to brighten up the middle of your week :)

I actually wore this hyper-feminine manicure to another beauty blogger lunch last Sunday just for fun as I knew the girls would appreciate it!  Crystal Nail Polish (GPK01) from Korean beauty brand Missha is simply a very dense mix of silver micro-glitter in a medium pink base.  Application was a rather easy two coats with the very wide flat brush and finished with two layers of top coat.  I can see this thirsty glitter could have done with another coat to smooth it over perfectly as the finish was a little bumpy but I like the sugary effect and it gave off some serious sparkle in the sun!

Enjoy the second half of your week!

  3. Raspberry! Haha. I like it - very sparkly and fairy-esque. It does have a sugary finish. I hate hungry glitters, though - I think I may need to invest in a different sort of top coat for ones like this!

    1. Yeah, I need to do more research on the best top coats for glitter polishes. My Sally Hansen Megashine probably would have been a better choice because the formula is thicker and doesn't seep in as quickly. I'd used OPI RapiDry for this mani and I don't think it was the best choice - BUT - I needed something that dried super quickly cos I was out the door and off to lunch less than an hour after doing the polish job!

  4. LOVE that colour Vita! It's so girly but at the same time bold, IYKWIM. Trying to do some "fashion" speak here. :p It beats having to put a layer of glitter.
