Onto another nail post while I'm on a roll...
Teal Unreal is from Orly's Surreal collection launched late in 2013. It's one of those winter-appropriate brights which provides a slight twist on the usual winter colours. The name sums it up very well - this is a vibrant teal cream with a strong leaning towards blue. Application was superb as the formula is so easy to work with (not too thick and not prone to flooding) and what I'm coming to expect from Orly polishes. The only downside with this shade is the blue colouring can stain the nails and cuticles so be careful when using remover to ensure you sweep the cotton pad down from the base to the tip of the nail to minimise cuticle staining. The nails themselves clean up well with an extra wipe of good quality remover.

Have you tried Orly nail polish?
What a gorgeous colour!
ReplyDeleteI always love teal when I see it - an irresistible colour and this one wears so well!
DeleteNice! It was kind of difficult to find Orly around here a few years ago so I didn't really pay any attention to them. And now I don't because the nail polish boxes overfloweth, lol.
ReplyDeleteI know that feeling only too well! I've been taking it really easy when it comes to buying polish these days!
DeleteSomething about Orly really appeals to me, I don't have many of their polishes but they are so pretty! I really think this shade is a great winter alternative to brights for those who typically wear dark vampy shades - very cool and your nails look lovely
ReplyDeleteSo pretty and they wear so well too!
DeleteAh, teal. I rarely wear this shade of it, but it looks good on other people, like you! :D
ReplyDeleteIt's quite vibrant and fun on my pale skin! Hehe :D
DeleteThis might just be the most perfect teal I've ever seen <3
ReplyDeleteIt certainly caught my eye when I spied the bottle on the stand too!
