Hey I'm back blogging again after some desperately needed rest and recuperation! I think I've just avoided entering into Guinness World Records for the longest lived head cold because it's finally over...
Let's get into a wintry manicure then! I usually default to aubergine or oxblood for a classic vampy winter manicure but this year I've also been zeroing in on deep dark indigo blue because it's another twist on the classic vamp. Essie describes No More Film as a "seductive deep violet" and this polish has very strong blue undertones. Application was trouble-free and I'm liking this colour option very much on my newly shortened nails.

Until next time.
This is a color I don't have a lot of! But I like this one a lot!
ReplyDeleteI can't get enough of dark blue at the moment - and I don't have much of it either for that matter!
DeleteLoving the length of your nails, very chic and fresh for winter! This shade is totally up my alley, lovely and deep for winter but still a nice pop of colour if you're wearing all black (as I always do!)
ReplyDeleteNothing like a good chop. It's the nail equivalent of short hair and feels so liberating too! Yup, dark blue gives just enough colour for winter :))
DeleteGlad you're recovered!
ReplyDeleteThis one was on my to-buy list for a long time but it takes much more effort to jump on nail polishes lately. I've been bare nailed all summer! :O
Thanks Liz! I just found out I've had the "Melbourne flu". It starts with a shorter 3 day version, goes away, then comes back with a vengeance for another 2 to 3 weeks! I've never had anything like it and basically lost most of June to it. Anyway enough of my whining...
DeleteBare nails would be so nice right now. Aaaaah. *Goes and paints nails again anyway*.
I like it... was this easier to apply than other Essie that you had?
ReplyDeleteYes it was much easier and smoother to apply!
