Neptune is the perfect name for this metallic teal polish because it's the green-blue colour of the sea. I loved the depth of coverage after one coat, albeit being a little brushstrokey. I could have so easily worn it as is - and I'll show you a 'before' shot to compare - but of course these polishes are all about the magnetic effect and this one was surprising. I was expecting the magnetic pattern to be the usual light stripe but this one is black! The striped pattern kind of reminded me in an off-kilter, off colour way of a bumblebee!?! For the fun factor alone I like this magnetic polish the best so far!
This is two coats of colour without top coat. All pictures were taken in cloudy conditions:

looks very interesting!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely! A lot more interesting than what some of the other brands are putting out :)
DeleteGorgeous blue <3 And you just reminded me that I have a magnetic blue from Essence that I still need to try :)
ReplyDeleteEssence does magnetics? I've not seen them here in Australia - I'll have to keep a lookout for them too!
Deleteooh even the plain colour is gorgeous on its own, I like it a lot! Very uniform stripes, you must be a pro at magnetic nails now!
ReplyDeletePractice, practice! Never try to do them in a hurry is all I can say! I'm glad I snapped the before pic because I think it's a great shade too :)
DeleteI'm not a fan of the magnetic polish (or crackle or any of the creative trends - I'm boring that way :( ), but Neptune is breathtaking!
ReplyDeleteThe magnetic effect is super strong
ReplyDeleteThese are pretty amazing! I'm tempted to buy the rest :)
