OPI: Rainbow Connection

Just a quick midweek glitter post to share some unseasonal cheer.

Rainbow Connection is one of the few glitter polishes I bought from OPI's Muppets collection and I figured it would be fun to add to my green Ulta 3 Lagoon base.  This polish is a riotous mix of hex and and round glitter - primarily silver with the "rainbow" made up of orange, fuschia, green, blue and gold...  Coverage was medium so I used two coats for a denser glitter topping.  Some of the larger hex glitters curve on the nail so I'd recommend a few layers of topcoat to smooth out the finish.

All pictures were taken outdoors:

What do you think of this combo?

Until next time

Vita :)

  6. Hi Vita, This is gorgeous! You're reminding me of an old Rainbow Connection lemming I've been harboring for a while now. I couldn't find a bottle anywhere--- but at least I can enjoy it on your nails :)

  8. Rainbow Connection is SOO pretty! But I did pass up the chance to get it just because I think it would annoy the heck out of me trying to remove it. Was it hard to remove??

    1. All glitter polishes are a pain to remove but I find it's just a little easier when they're layered over a base polish. I guess it's because the remover dissolves the base so they come away with it!

  9. You are WAY more adventurous with your nails than I am! I have a layering polish similar to this but wore it sparingly only once. :x I like what you did with this - it's super fun!

Rainbow has been on my Lust List for a while BUT I can't justify myself buying anymore nail polish when I have so many unused one :(
