This post was inspired by the gorgeous reeree, a fellow Aussie Gumleaf Mafiette from Crouching Asian, Hidden Polish. She did a few posts on some great old metallic polishes from Revlon's Molten Metals collection last week which had me searching through my own stash.
Ornate Ore is a super shimmery, almost foil gunmetal shade, loaded with flecks of deep gold, bronze and silver shimmer. I'm guessing this was released about 4 or even 5 years ago but the colour and finish looks quite current and easily coordinates with this season's winter wardrobe. I applied two coats of polish and this wore really well all week with zero chipping.
Of course because it's winter I've had no luck - again - with getting sunlight pix so most of these are taken indoors. Still, I think I've captured the shimmery goodness for you!

Wow this is so pretty! I love the Va Va Bloom Revlon polish that you posted about too. Who knew Revlon made such gorgeous nail polish?
ReplyDeleteLove this shade, might have a look around for it :)
ReplyDeleteCan not believe that: I bought the same nail polish 2 weeks ago to do a post on it LOL Now will have to think about another idea:)
ReplyDeleteAnyways.. what I am trying to say. It looks gorgeous and your choice confirms you have a great sense of beauty:)

P.s. Thanks for your comment! As I have heard a lot of good words about Shiseido, I am actually going to try their skincare after my current Lancome finishes.
I love this! It somehow reminds me of chocolate :)
ReplyDelete@Emily - Revlon was my original go-to nail polish brand before I discovered OPI, China Glaze etc. Keep an eye out because they have some gems from time to time!
ReplyDelete@Jadegrrrl - You won't regret getting this shade!
@Marusya V - Whoopsie! Just shows how gorgeous this shade is :)
@Vintage Makeup - I hadn't thought of that but you're right!
